Yesterday I got to see the results of the CT scan from Monday, compared with those of of six weeks ago (10 Sep v 23 Jul). The great news is that it all seems to halved - again!
The measurements on the scans focus on the spots (the metastases) on my liver and show that the surface of one spot has has gone from 56.9 x 46.4mm to 37.7 x 25.4mm, a reduction in area of 63%. Very pleasing! You can see the reduction in the the tumour on my kidney, too on the right of the scan pictures.
Keep up the positive thinking folks, and I'll keep taking the chemo!
Have a good day, yourself,
Paul

Hey Unc! Had been told about your great news (as well as the great knees-up I missed! Sorry!), but it's really good to see the scans and dimensions - I'm definitely more a numbers and diagrams man than words!
Hope you had a good birthday. Back in the country now so hopefully see you soon. All the best as ever,
Andy x
Most excellent news, the difference in the scans is quite amazing.
Just for your information, did you know that apparently 55 is the new 40? So you are still a child :-)
Hope you managed to have a good birthday.
Luv 'n' (((((hugs)))))

So glad to hear the medicine is working!Keep up the good work and attitude, even though it must be hard some days without any white blood cells. At least you know what an important job they do now. I suspect you are getting a crash course in medicine knowledge and will soon know all the lingo.
Best wishes and hopefully see you soon.
